The cDOM Domination Map Pack was a an interesting mod project where a group of guys worked pretty hard together and resurected the original UT99 Domination style type gameplay to UT2004. I choose to do a remake of Cryptic by Alan 'Talisman' Willard. My aim was to replicate as much as possible of the original Cryptic. Since UT99 textures were 8-bit and quite small, there reuse was not practical, so new textures were either made from scratch or replaced with UT2004 "stock" textures that were similar. Since brush porting of UT99 to UT2004 isn't the cleanest in the world, meshes had to be used in specific areas as needed to elimnate HOMs. The lower corridor was embelished a bit on my part and left the orignal just a bit as this section became my creative output.
