Solemn is a map in an old stone city setting. This map is an entry in the level design competition that ran on NaliCity, called The Floorplan Challenge (hence the acronym TFC). The rules for this competition were that the level layout has to strongly resemble one of the characters or symbols on a keyboard. Solemn has the shape of an S.

Inspiration for this level comes mainly from other levels like my own DM-UCMP2-Taron and DM-Hulz by Florian 'Strogg' Oswald. Other inspiration comes from seeing the white city Minas Tirith from the Lord of the Rings movies.

The end result is a cool looking map with pretty good gameplay to boot.
